High school students enrolled in grades 9 through 11; must be attending one of the following High Schools: Glenville, John Marshall, or East Tech. Must be low-income or potential first-generation college student. Must be a US citizen.

M-Th: 3:00-6:00pm during the academic year. Monthly Saturday speakers. M-F: 9:00am-3:00pm (6-week program) for summer enrichment program.

Description

Provides a pre-college program for high school students designed to generate skills and motivation necessary to complete a program of secondary education and enter and succeed in a program of post-secondary education. Services include weekly academic enrichment classes, tutoring and monthly seminars; exposure to new experiences through participation in area cultural, social and recreational events; career exploration activities; college admission assistance, a summer 6 week daily summer on-campus program, There is also a parent/guardian component to this program.
