  • live in the United States
  • be a United States citizen/national or otherwise lawfully present in the U.S.
  • not currently be incarcerated

Application process

Application required. Applications may be completed online or by phone. Enrollment must be completed between November 1-January 15 or during a special enrollment period. Eligibility for special enrollment periods is based on changes in household, changes in residence, loss of health insurance, etc.

Description

Provides a website and 24-hour call center where consumers can complete online enrollment for health insurance, compare health insurance plans for coverage and cost, and seek information and answers about health insurance. Health insurance plans offered on the Marketplace are Affordable Care Act compliant and are offered by private health insurance companies.
