RYAN WHITE TITLE I PROGRAM | CUYAHOGA COUNTY DISTRICT BOARD OF HEALTH

Administers federal funding that provides medical, dental, and social support services to uninsured and underinsured persons living with HIV/AIDS. Facilitates the federally mandated Cuyahoga Regional HIV Services Planning Council, which determines community HIV health care needs, service priorities, and service funding allocations. Produces a Community Resource Guide listing medical, dental, and social service resources available to those living with HIV/AIDS in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, and Medina Counties.

Includes Environmental Health Division (food protection, risk assessments, septic system and well safety, solid waste disposal), Prevention and Wellness Division(nutrition services, wellness programs, dental care referrals), immunizations, lead poisoning prevention and detection, communicable disease prevention and control, child care education, school health, etc.), and Epidemiology/Surveillance Division. Acts as liaison with Early Start and Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps.
