Provides information on utility service, including competitive utility services, utility rate aggregators (such as NOPEC), as well as information on available utility payment plans, energy conservation, public hearings on utilities, and the status of pending rate cases. Helps resolve disputes between consumers and utilities under PUCO jurisdiction, which cannot be resolved by the primary parties (NOTE: In Cuyahoga County, Cleveland Public Power, CPP, is NOT under PUCO jurisdiction). Monitors utilities for compliance with safety and service standards.
