Eligibility
Must be a Geauga County resident, registered 30 days before an election, aged 18 on or before the day of the general election and not currently incarcerated for a felony. Voters who have moved since they last voted must register their new address 30 days before an election. Must be a resident of Ohio for at least 30 consecutive days immediately before the election in which they want to vote. College students living in Ohio and registered to vote by the deadline may vote using whichever address the student considers his or her permanent residence at the time of voting. Ex-offenders who were convicted of felonies and who re-registered to vote following their release from prison are eligible to vote. 17 year-olds who meet the above criteria may vote in a primary for candidates only.
