Provides benefits screening and forms assistance for several government assistance programs (Food Stamps (SNAP), Medicaid, etc.). NOTE: does not help with unemployment. Provides particular focus on signing households up for food stamps (SNAP/Food Assistance). Trained phone staff takes information from the client in order to fill out applications for many programs at once. Applications can be completed and submitted over the phone. Also provides food pantry referrals to the agency's food partner sites in its 5-county service area. Also helps families sign up for the Senior Commodity Box Program.

Solicits, warehouses, and distributes donated surplus food to member charities. Provides perishable and nonperishable food, non-food items, fresh produce, and prepared meals to area pantries and other eligible non-profit organizations.
