VOLUNTEER GUARDIANSHIP PROGRAM | UNITED SENIOR SERVICES
The program's mission is to provide quality, court approved guardianship to those older adults in need of support, who reside in nursing homes in Clark County, have very limited resources, and no one else to assist. To receive a guardian you must be Clark County Medicaid eligible and reside in a nursing facility. To be a court appointed guardian you must be 21 years of age or older, pass a criminal background check and complete 6 hours of online training.

United Senior Services mission is to enhance the lives of Clark County older adults by offering quality services that promote general well being, socialization and independent living. USS encourages participants to be active, involved and independent. In-home services, such as meals, transportation, homemakers, respite care, and personal care aides, are available to all eligible Clark County senior citizens regardless of membership. Community services such as income tax preparation, Medicare open enrollment and health education also do not require membership. Fitness, social and recreational activities at our centers are for people who are 55 or better and a member of USS. Annual membership fee is $15 for Clark County residents.
