Application process

Phone for information. Generally patients without third-party payment, including Medicaid and Medicare, are not scheduled for appointments until they meet with an Financial Counselor. Bill payment assistance may be applied for before or after appointments.

Fee

No fee for service; Those who have no health insurance must have household income at or below 400% of federal poverty guidelines to apply for financial help. Patients who qualify for hospital charity might not always have a 100% of bill covered. Those who have an outstanding bill may be able to receive a payment plan on a case-by-case basis.

Eligibility

Patients of University Hospitals Health syatem that are uninsured, underinsured or insured that have problems paying their medical bill.
