Contact the Parent Mentor serving the child's school district:
- For Amherst, Avon Lake, Columbia, Lorain, Midview, North Ridgeville, and Oberlin: Call the office at extension 1167 or by email at [email protected].
- For Bellevue, Elyria, Firelands, Keystone, Monroeville, Norwalk, Sheffield/Sheffield Lake, and Wellington: Call the office at extension 1166 or by email at [email protected].

Provides support and resources to families with children with disabilities and the professionals who serve them. A Parent Mentor is a parent of a child with disabilities employed by the region to provide other parents and the school district with information, training and support. Attends meetings including special education plan development (IEP meetings) at the request of the parent or school district.
