Driver Awareness Sessions (das)/victim Impact Panel (vip) | Mothers Against Drunk Driving
Provides a program that details the impact of drunk driving on survivors, family, friends, and society. Includes alcohol education, coping skills, and the consequences to families, loved ones, and friends of offenders. Qualifies to fulfill court-ordered attendance at a DUI offender program or Victim Impact Panel (VIP) program. Provides a monthly printed report of attendees that will be forwarded to the courts.

Application process
Individuals are usually court-ordered to participate. Walk in for service at community locations. Phone telephone message line 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week for dates, locations, times, and session topics. May phone administrative line for more information M-F: 8:30am-5:00pm.
Fee
Fixed fee to offenders, payable at sessions. Accepts cash or money order. Friends and family of the offender may attend the session for free.
Eligibility
Those convicted of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) or Operating a Vehical While Impaired (OVI) by a court in Cuyahoga, Lake, or Lorain County.
