CARES (COMMUNITY ACTION RESPONDS, ENGAGES, AND SUPPORTS RECOVERY) | ROSS COUNTY COMMUNITY ACTION COMMISSION, INC.

Provides Client Services Representatives to assist individuals in recovery from substance use disorder with access to recovery support services. The program provides long-term care coordination and support to eligible individuals. The importance of this centralized service increases the chance of recovery and allows program participants to experience an increased quality of life. Client Services Representatives link individuals referred to the program from jail, prison, transition houses, treatment providers, and community agencies with access treatment providers and recovery support services. . Peer supporters are also available to support individuals in recovery. Program also offers a wellness program.

Eligibility

Ross County residents whose household income is under 125% of the federal poverty guidelines. Must be in recovery from substance use disorders and require recovery support services in order to avoid relapse and achieve and maintain self-sufficiency. Individuals are referred to the program from jail, prison, transition houses, treatment providers, and community agencies.
