First Program - Early Identification And Treatment Of Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders | Riveon Mental Health And Recovery
Provides comprehensive, team-based treatment aimed at improving the mental health and quality of life for individuals who have experienced a first episode of a schizophrenia spectrum disorder by promoting early identification and providing best treatment practices as soon as possible. FIRST treatment includes psychiatric care, individual counseling, supported employment/education, family psychoeducation and case management that are all delivered in an integrated way by a six-person team.

Call the Intake Line or the FIRST Program for more information or to schedule an initial evaluation appointment. Transportation Services to Riveon Appointments: - If enrolled in a Medicaid program, call the number on the insurance card to arrange transportation. - If not enrolled in a Medicaid program, call 440-204-4224 to schedule transportation. 24-hour advance notice is required.

- Sliding fee scale available for Lorain County residents. - Accepts most insurance plans and public programs including Medicaid, Medicare, and Title XX.
Eligibility
FIRST is most appropriate for individuals residing in Lorain County who: - Are between ages 15 to 40. - Are diagnosed with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, schizophreniform disorder or other specified/unspecified schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorder. - Have experienced no more than 18 months of psychotic symptoms (treated or untreated). - Are willing to consent to participate in at least two treatment modalities that include counseling, psychiatric care, supported employment/education, family psychoeducation and case management.
