- Serves Jefferson County households with at least one child under the age of 18 (or through age 19 if the child is still in high school, pregnant women (from conception to delivery), and the non-custodial father or mother (in certain cases). - Must have household income which is at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Guideline Level. - At least one member of the family must be a United States citizen or qualified alien. - Assistance may only be granted once in a 12-month period. - Client may not receive PRC assistance for the same reason three years in a row. - If the amount available from PRC assistance is not sufficient to meet the presenting need, PRC may not be approved. - If the client has received PRC assistance through another county, the amount of assistance given will count against their $500 yearly cap.

Bring the following documents: - Proof of previous 30 days of earned and unearned income (SSI, child support and so forth) for all adults in household. - Bank statement. - Photo ID. - Verification of income (pay stubs or in writing). If client does not have these documents, then the client should call to see what their options are.
