Meetings labeled as "open" are for anyone interested in attending. Meetings labeled as "closed" are for those who identify as codependents (or as members of the Fellowship). There may be other qualifiers such as gay, women, men. Meetings are autonomous and may set other limits though no meeting is supposed to bar an individual seeking a meeting that has no other choice in the vicinity.
