Eligibility
Veteran is required to have active federal service for other than training purposes and to have been discharged under honorable conditions. Proof of service (DD 214) is required. Applicant must have 3 months of residency in Marion County immediately preceding the date of application. Proof of residency is required. A definite financial need must be demonstrated.

Call 740-592-3216 for assistance. Applications for financial assistance must be received by 4pm on the Friday, prior to the scheduled Commission meeting. Meetings are on the 1st & 3rd Mondays of each month at 5pm., except if the Monday is a legal holiday, then the meeting will be held on Tuesday.
