Application process
- Call the office or visit the website for more information. - Absentee ballots are available on the first day after the close of voter registration. Voters planning to vote by absentee ballot must complete a request for an absentee ballot. Applications may only be returned by mail or in person. Electronic applications are not accepted for absentee ballots (except for Uniformed and Overseas Citizens).

- No fee. - Must pay postage to mail application and returned absentee ballot to Board of Elections.

- Serves residents of Medina County. - Must be registered in the State of Ohio for at least 30 days prior to the election in which they wish to vote. - Voters who go to the polls after requesting an absentee ballot will have to vote provisionally.
