Must be age 21 or over. Basic qualifications are: - Willingness to live in Portage County. - Having low to moderate income for Portage County (generally, 40% to 80% of the Area Median Income). - Currently living in substandard living conditions or rent-burdened. - Ability to make payments on monthly. interest free mortgage payment. - A willingness to commit to sweat equity hours. - In almost all cases, client can only receive service once.

Builds houses with volunteers and approved families, then sold to qualifying recipients with a no-interest mortgage and for no profit. Offers home ownership training for recipients and continued support after moving into the house.
