Medication Assisted Treatment Program (MAT) | Southwestern Recovery Center
Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program is a multi-disciplinary approach to addiction treatment. Your treatment team will work with you to establish a plan that fits your individual needs, including counseling sessions, medical evaluations, and medication management. Buprenorphine (Suboxone) has been found to effectively treat opioid addiction by easing withdrawal symptoms and reducing cravings. As a result, the patient can focus on changing behaviors and repairing their life. The individual counseling portion of our Medication Assisted Treatment program plays a key role in our personalized, holistic approach to helping you to fully recover, rebuild, and reconnect.
