Eligibility

Applicants must reside in Hocking, Athens and Perry counties, meet income eligibility guidelines, have obtained or will obtain a high school degree or GED and have been accepted by an accredited 2 or 4 year institution of higher learning.

Call the main office at 740-767-4500 or 800-686-1093 for more information. Applications and procedures for applying are available at all Community Action locations. Application is also available for download at www.hapcap.org (Adobe Reader required).

Scholarship applications available for students in Hocking, Athens, and Perry Counties who wish to attend an accredited institution of higher education. Completed applications must be submitted to HAPCAP by March 1 of each year in order to be considered for funding for the academic year beginning in September.
