1. Ensure a safe and sanitary potable private water system 2. Register persons in the business of private water system development 3. Provide consultation services to achieve safe, potable water 4. Provide laboratory (fee required) to determine quality of private water systems 5. Make sure all homeowners with private water systems, installers, and repair persons adhere to Chapter 3701-28 of the Ohio Administrative Code
