Ohio Autism Scholarship Program | School Choice Ohio

Students age 3-21 who is on the autism spectrum and has a medical diagnosis. Apply to a participating school or provider of student's choice; student must go through regular admission process at the private school. If student is accepted, private school or provider will apply for the scholarship on student's behalf.
Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm

There is no deadline to apply for an Autism Scholarship. Applications are accepted and processed year-round, except during April. Families need to find registered providers and complete a scholarship application through the Ohio Department of Education.

Any costs above the scholarship award are the responsibility of the family. Make clear what services will be provided, what exactly will be covered by the scholarship, and what leftover costs there will be if any.

Description

Provides scholarships to students age 3-22 who are on the spectrum and have a medical diagnosis. Scholarship can be used at the participating school and/or private service provider(s) of student's choice and is renewable through high school graduation or the student's 22nd birthday. Scholarships are worth up to $32,445 a year.
