Disaster (FIRE, FLOOD) - Assistance For Food, Shelter, Financial | American Red Cross - Miami Valley Chapter

Offers immediate assistance for victims of disaster (such as fire, flood, weather) regardless of financial means or access to insurance. Provides emotional/medical support, referrals, and, if needed, financial assistance that can be used for temporary shelter, food, clothing, medical supplies or prescriptions, and other needs in the weeks following a disaster. Flooding must affect the main living areas and not just the basement. Does not provide help for secondary related problems, such as flooding from sewer backup, and does not provide food replacement or other assistance due to power outages or maintenance issues. Provides cleaning kits (mop and bleach) to victims of flooding.
