ASPIRE ADULT EDUCATION - MANSFIELD | MANSFIELD CITY SCHOOLS BOARD OF EDUCATION
Designed to address the educational and training needs of the community. Offers Adult Basic Literacy Classes (ABLE) that assist adults with review of basic subjects such as: math, reading , writing, English for self-improvement and/or General Equivalence Diploma (GED) test preparation. Technical and Trade classes provide classroom related requirements for apprenticeships. Offers family literacy providing ABLE/GED students with early childhood literacy and parenting skills through the Even Start Program.

Application process
Walk-in, call, fax for appointment for Adult Basic, GED services. Registration required for fee based classes.
Fee
Adult Basic classes (ABLE); GED services are no fee. GED testing has a fee per test. Can apply for a voucher to off set fee. Call Kevin Uhde for information. Others vary per instructional hour plus book, supplies, and lab fees.
Eligibility
Applicants should be 18 years of age. To be eligible to take the GED test, the applicant must be an Ohio resident, must be a least 18 years old and the class with which he/she entered high school must have graduated. For the Even Start Program, must have a child birth through 7 and parent needing ABLE classes.
