PATIENT ADVOCATE | UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS

Provides Patient Advocates to assist clients of the Veterans Affairs (VA) health system that need help getting care or getting their problems resolved. Clients should first bring suggestions or concerns regarding their to their treatment team (treatment team includes your doctor, nurse, social worker, dietitian, pharmacist, chaplain, therapist and other professionals associated with the client's medical care). If the client does not feel their concerns are not being addressed by their treatment team, they should contact a VA Patient Advocate.
