American Fitness Health & Wellness
The mission of AFHWI is to create positive and healthy changes to meet specific needs in the African American, Hispanic, youth, and senior communities that are being restored and revitalized by promoting selfsufficiency through partnerships, COVID, maternal/infant, and neighborhood reinvestment. We have 39 years of excellence. Weekly we provide Abundant Season Pantry Services, which includes fresh fruits, vegetables, proteins, and more. We provide baby supplies for mothers and parents including diapers, wipes, breast pumps, and other baby supplies. We provide toiletries (soap, toothbrush toothpaste). We provide crisis support when budget permits such as eviction support, utility bill pay. We also provide wellness prevention education and health assessments for overall wellness, nutrition, physical activity, cooking demonstration to help with healthier choices to manage or prevent high blood pressure/heart disease and diabetes. These classes are on Tuesdays at 6:00 pm and by appointment. We also offer spiritual wellness – Lifestyle training which is a faith-based classes on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm following physical activity classes on Tuesdays at 6:00pm
