Application process

Call M-F: 8:30am-7:30pm, or leave a message 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week with name and address to receive a packet of information regarding the enrollment and compliance procedures. Parents must write a letter to their district superintendent, requesting the excuse of their child (or children) from attending public school. If approved, parents must submit a renewal letter and documents showing student progress annually to their district superintendent.

Eligibility

Parents or guardians of Ohio children who are subject to the state's compulsory school attendance laws (children who have turned 6 years old by September 1 of a given year, on up to age 18). Persons providing home schooling must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
