Eligibility

No restrictions for most services. Must be an Ohio resident to obtain a library card. Some services and programs have age restrictions. Use of meeting rooms is for non-commercial groups on a first-come, first-served basis, and must follow specific rules and be approved by branch manager.

Application process

Walk in for service. Curbside: Phone for more information and to request materials/books. Drive-through: do not need to preorder materials or need to schedule a specific pick up time. You should bring your library card or have the library card number associated with the hold in order to pick up material. For meeting room use, visit the website's online booking feature. Requests for meetings room must be approved by branch manager. There may be a waiting list for meeting rooms.

Fees

Free; Any CCPL library item that is not returned more than 21 days after its due date will be considered a 'lost' item, and the cardholder will be charged a replacement fee. However, that fee will be waived when the item is returned.

Description

Provides a variety of books, videos, CDs, DVDs, and other materials for use and loan. Offers homebound services, meeting rooms and a literacy resource center. Makes available computers, including Internet and other office aids for public use, and a variety of electronic databases for research and general use. Provide books and other publications in large print, low-vision aids, including computer-based assistive technology, and captioned and descriptive videos. Can reserve private computer rooms (virtual meeting space) for video conferencing (including use for court hearings.)
