Walk in for service. Both prescription and kit will be provided during walk in visit. Must attend a 20 minute presentation on how to administer Naloxone. Medical file will be started on person receiving kit, but it will be noted if the person is a user or a friend of a user.

Description
Provides a kit that contains naloxone, a prescribed nasal inhalant that reverses an opioid overdose. Kit includes 2 vials of medication, 2 nasal attachements, an instructional dvd, and a small tip sheet on how to recognize an overdose. Will receive instruction on how to recognize and respond to an overdose (as well as distinguish between different types of overdose) and how to administer intranasal Naloxone to reverse the opioid overdose.
