Travel Training | Metro Regional Transit Authority

Provides training which introduces new riders to METRO Regional Transit Authority and teaches them to use the system effectively. Offers assistance with regular bus transit. Conducts a basic assessment to determine the participant's travel needs and customizes the training for the participant. Skills offered include how to read bus schedules, trip planning, bus transfers, use of bike racks, and so forth.

Hours

Travel Training can last however long it takes for the participant to be comfortable using METRO’s line service. Appointments scheduled based upon the participant's schedule. If necessary, a schedule reading class and website demonstration can be scheduled to help the participant become familiar with planning a trip before riding the bus.
