Adult Services | Pioneer Center

Works to help adults with developmental disabilities achieve the highest level of independent function possible. Each new client receives an individual plan which is reviewed as needed. Services include work evaluation, basic skills development, recreational activities for seniors no longer working. A number of supportive services are provided to participants, including communication skills training, recreation and activities, social work, physical therapy and occupational therapy.

Phone M-F: 8:30am-4:30pm to apply. After taking basic information, a Support Administrator will obtain documentation and establish eligibility for Board services.

Fee

Free. Consumers are paid for their work in supportive employment and community employment settings.

Eligibility

Serves Ross County adults, age 18 and older, with developmental disabilities. Onset of developmental disability must have been prior to age 22. Prospective consumers will be tested using the Ohio Eligibility Determination Instrument.
