Description

Enforces the provisions of Akron's non-discrimination ordinance. Accepts, investigates, and mediates complaints of unlawful discrimination in housing, employment, city contracts, and public accommodations based on age, ancestry, color, creed, disability, familial status, gender identity or expression, marital status, military status, national origin, race (includes hair texture/style), religion, sex, sexual orientation, or source of income (related to real estate transactions).
