Investigates charges of discrimination in employment, public accommodations, housing, credit and higher education on the bases of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, ancestry, military status, or familial status. Must file complaints within six months (or one year for housing complaints) of the alleged act of discrimination. OCRC must make a finding within one year after the charge is filed. OCRC staff may go to business or community to conduct training on Ohio laws against discrimination as defined in Revised Code Section 4112.
