MEDICAID | RICHLAND COUNTY JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES

Provides health care coverage to individuals from birth to age 64, who fall within income guidelines; working families with limited income, pregnant women and families participating in Ohio Works First (OWF); and persons 65 or older, aged, blind or disabled. Covers a wide range of services through a basic Medicaid Health Plan including doctor visits, hospital care, prescription drugs, preventive health care, family planning, dental care, transportation, vision services, mental health and substance abuse treatment services. Offers Long-Term Care Health Plan, Ohio Home Care Waiver, and PASSPORT through Medicaid. More information is available at the Ohio Department of Medicaid web site at benefits.ohio.gov. When you are approved for Medicaid you will be asked to choose a Medicaid Managed Care Plan (MCP). These MCPs are health care companies.
