Turning Point | Lake Area Recovery Center
Treatment center for chronically chemically dependent individuals. This program is most appropriate for individuals who need a highly structured environment to maintain a chemical-free lifestyle. Residents must be physical self-sufficient and able to be involved in a confrontive group process.
For those pregnant at admission, provision is made so that neborns are able to stay in residence at Turning Point until their months complete treatment.
COVID-19 Temporary Message: All case managers, peer supporters, and individual sessions will begin to meet via telephone for individual appointments. Weekend UDS at Turning Point is also suspended, though regular weekday screening is still taking place. All of their residential facilities (Turning Point, Opal House, and Liberty House) are accepting new clients.
