Enbridge Ohio Housewarming Program | Community Action Council Of Portage County

Provides a weatherization program which includes a safety inspection, tune-up, repair, and/or replacement of the client's heating unit. As part of the program, carbon monoxide alarms and/or insulation may be provided (either attic, sidewalls, or both) when needed.

Call the office at 330-297-1456 option 2 for more information. Applicants will first be referred to the HWAP weatherization program before this service can be accessed.

Eligibility

Serves low-income Enbridge Gas (formerly Dominion) Ohio customers in Portage and Trumbull counties. Applicants will first be referred to the Housing and Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP) before accessing this service. Applicants must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Must be homeowners or tenants of an occupied building with no more than eight units in a building. Only homeowner-occupied dwellings are eligible for furnace replacement. Can only receive service once every 10 years.
