Application process

Social workers are often assigned to specific units within the hospital, and will see patients there. Can also call for an appointment or walk-in for service M-F: 8:30am-5:00pm (there may be some waiting time for walk-ins). Referrals can be made by any member of the health care team, the patient, family members, community agencies, or other concerned parties.

Fee

There is no additional fee - any MetroHealth patient can be assisted.

Eligibility

Open to patients hospitalized at MetroHealth and their families, as well as to outpatients in the MetroHealth ambulatory care centers.
