Monday - Friday: 8:00am to 4:00pm. - Eligible consumers who apply, coverage effective on the first day of the month they are accepted. - Once a consumer is signed up for Medicaid, eligibility reviewed annually. - There is no limited enrollment period for Medicaid. However, consumers ineligible for Medicaid can only buy health insurance during annual open enrollment periods from the Health Insurance Marketplace. Open enrollment generally is from November 1st through December 15th each year.

Walk into your local office during regular hours of operation to apply. Eligibility
- Serves Ohio residents residing in Jefferson County age 65 and under. - Must be a United States citizen or meet Medicaid citizenship requirements. - Must have or get a Social Security number. - Children age 19 and under without other health insurance, must live in a household with income at or below 206% of the Federal Poverty Guideline Level after MAGI is applied. Must apply for more details. - Children age 19 and under with other health insurance, must live in a household with income at or below 156% of the Federal Poverty Guideline Level after MAGI is applied. Must apply for more details. - Adult women who are pregnant must have a household income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guideline Level after MAGI is applied. Must apply for more details. - Adults who are not pregnant must have a household income below 133% of the Federal Poverty Guideline Level after MAGI is applied. Must apply for more details. 133% of Federal Poverty Guideline Level before MAGI: 1 Person: $1,385 per month. 2 Persons: $1,875 per month. 3 Persons: $2,365 per month. 4 Persons: $2,854 per month. 5 Persons: $3,344 per month. 6 Persons: $3,834 per month. 7 Persons: $4,324 per month. 8 Persons: $4,814 per month. Changes in household composition and unreported income could all result in changes to benefit amount. Recipients are responsible for reporting these or any other changes within 10 days of occurrence. Receiving more than a household is entitled to could result in overpayment penalties or charges of fraud.
