Phone for service. For domestic violence or sexual assault crisis calls, a live staff person will take a message from the caller and record their contact information. The operator will then forward that information to an on-call advocate. The advocate call the client back within a half-hour (but may be sooner in crisis situations). For mental health, suicide, or substance abuse calls, the staff will either directly connect the caller to a crisis worker, or after hours, obtain contact information and have a crisis therapist call the client back within 15 minutes
