COMMUNITY MOBILITY TRAINING | CLEVELAND SIGHT CENTER

Teaches appropriate indoor and outdoor travel skills, including walking with a sighted guide, use of the white cane, and independent urban and rural travel, including use of public transportation.

Application process

Phone for registration. An Intake Associate will take initial information and request an eye exam report dated within 6 months prior to application. After the report is received, client will be registered and assigned a Caseworker to arrange for service.

Fee

Sliding fee scale. No one is denied service because of inability to pay.

Eligibility

Open to anyone who has an eye condition that limits functioning and would like this kind of training. Serves Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, and Medina counties.
