Application process
Application required. Applications may be submitted by: -Calling the CAA appointment line to register for a phone or in-person appointment. -Scheduling an appointment with CAA online at https://app.capappointments.com/ -Mailing a paper application, available at CAA and local libraries. Paper applications must be mailed to address listed on the application. Note: applications may be started online at https://development.ohio.gov/individual/energy-assistance/apply-now-energy-assistance-programs, however an appointment with CAA is still required to complete the application

Open to households with income at or below 175% of the federal poverty level. Households must also meet one of the following criteria: -include a household member who is age 60 or older or who has a documented medical condition -have a disconnection notice, have been disconnected, or trying to establish new electric service -be enrolling in Percentage of Income Payment Plan Plus (PIPP) for the first time or have a PIPP default
