Adult Protective Services | Guernsey County Job & Family Services

Guernsey County Adult Protective Services assesses alleged elder abuse, neglect, or exploitation based on reports given by people like you – someone who cares about the well being of the elderly. If you file a report in good faith, you are immune from civil or criminal liability. Your employer cannot retaliate against you if you file in good faith a report of suspected abuse. Your report should include the name, address and approximate age of the adult, the name and address of the adult's caregiver, the nature and extent of the suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation, and what makes you believe it has occurred.
