Recreation - Sports Instruction/Participation | Cleveland Baseball Federation

Offers youth the opportunity to be part of a baseball or softball team. Supplies participants with uniforms and equipment, offers opportunities for college scholarships and other awards, and provides insurance coverage while playing. Conducts social awareness programs for youth participants that aim to develop leadership skills and stress the value of education and avoidance of substance abuse. Maintains softball leagues for adult teams. Will try to place individual adults on a team if adult does not sign up as part of one. Also provides an rainout hotline.

For youth registration, visit website or at a local City of Cleveland Recreation Center. May phone for information M-F: 9:00am-5:00pm. Registration normally starts in April and season takes place in June and July. Generally adults join as a team, but will try to place individual adults on a team. For adult registration, go to the Web site or phone for information M-F: 9:00am-5:00pm.

Free for youth. Fixed fee for adults.

Eligibility

Youth ages 5 through 18 who reside in Cleveland or East Cleveland. Adults 19 and older.
