Eligibility

The teen parent must: - Be between the ages of 13-23 years of age. - Be finishing her high school education through traditional high school, GED program, or alternative schooling. If she has completed her high school education, she must either attend college or work towards full-time employment. - Maintain a grade of at least a "C" in all school classes. - Use the services provided only while she is working or attending school. - Delay a subsequent pregnancy while participating in the program. - Attend weekly Lifeskills Workshops. - Establish and progress towards specific personal goals. - Sustain a relationship with an assigned mentor. - Reside within a 45 minute drive of Akron.
