- Call or visit the website for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week crisis hotline and chat. - Appointments and walk-ins accepted between 8:00am to 4:00pm at the main office, the Domestic Relations Court Office, Akron Municipal Courthouse, Stow Municipal Courthouse, and Barberton Municipal Courthouse. Walk-ins accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the Akron Police Department Detective Bureau Office. - Crime scene response available only upon request from law enforcement.

Provides free, confidential crisis intervention to all victims of violent crimes and trauma, including victims of mass violence incidents. Offers emotional support and information. Provides assistance from first response at the crime scenes to court support throughout the justice system and includes the following services: - 24-hour Crisis Intervention: -- Debriefing, group crisis intervention, and individualized crisis intervention. -- 24-hour crisis hotline. -- Crime scene response and death notification. - Court Advocacy: -- Personal advocacy and action planning. -- Court accompaniment and assistance. -- Police and incident report follow-up. -- Protection orders and victim impact statements. -- Victim Information Notification Everyday (VINE). -- Victim rights education. -- Information on and assistance with the Ohio Crime Victim Compensation Program application. -- Children Who Witness Violence Program/Drop In Center.
