FAMILY CAREGIVER SUBSIDIES | BROWN COUNTY BOARD OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
Provides financial assistance for family members or other persons who are serving as primary caregivers for an individual with a developmental disability. Assistance may be used to reimburse the cost of purchasing eligible items and services that help alleviate family need, such as adaptive equipment, dietary supplies, diapers, camps, home modification, respite care, etc.

Application process
If eligibility for development disability services has not been established, call to schedule an assessment. If eligibility for services has already been established, contact the Family Support Services Coordinator by calling 937-378-4891, ext. 255 to begin the application process.

Eligibility
Open to Brown County households that include an individual living at home who has been determined eligible for developmental disability services. Families/households are only eligible when funding from Medicaid, the Bureau of Children with Medical Handicaps, and Women, Infants & Children (WIC) is exhausted or unavailable to the family.
