Professional counselors assist with persistent anxiety, feelings of fear, frustration or helplessness, and other depression-like symptoms. Offers information on common stress reactions and healthy coping skills, as well as referrals to local disaster-related resources for follow-up care and support.

Provides a 24-hour, nationwide, suicide prevention hotline. Callers are routed to the nearest accredited crisis centers in their area (over 150 certified crisis centers across the United States.) Crisis Chat Service routes chat visitors to a subnetwork of crisis centers accredited in providing online emotional support. Offers immediate crisis services as well as referrals to mental health services.
