Some services are free to residents and some have fixed fees. In most cases, emergency assistance for domestic animals is covered by the Village, but that for wildlife is charged to the resident.

Provides investigations of suspected animal cruelty and/or neglect. Provides animal control services as well as trapping of nusiance wildlife. Hold lost pets for 24 hours to give owners a chance to claim the animal (afterwards the animal is placed in a shleter that is not owned by the city). Provides rescue services to animals in dangerous situations.
