Metropolitan Housing Authority assists with rent based on eligibility and income. They are not an emergency agency. Interviews are conducted according to the waiting list, to determine eligibility and begin verification. There are two types of funds: Federal, which is the permanent metro, and State, which is temporary metro or assistance for up to one year.
