Offers a volunteer-led, professionally-supervised, educational, and recreational outdoor-based program for youth. Youth become part of a troop and participate in activities such as camping, canoeing, hiking, and model building. Scouting for youth with disabilities is available through group homes, organizations that work with these youth, or by joining traditional troops and packs.

Fixed registration fee. Scholarships may be available. Individual troops or dens may charge specific fees. Schools normally pay for registration fees if the program is sponsored by the school.
Eligibility
Youth in Cuyahoga, Erie, Huron, Lorain, Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula counties who are in 1st grade through age 17; youth with a physical or developmental disability who are in 1st grade through age 20 (and, in some cases, through age 21).
