Family Fishing Days | Doan Brook Watershed Partnership

Provides an event for families to fish together and learn fishing techniques, including how to clean and prepare caught fish to eat. Lagoon is stocked with catfish, bluegill, and trout. Fishing rods provided for youth. Bait and tackle will be provided.

Hours

Offered annually during the summer. For 2022, Bluegill and Catfish event is September 17. Trout event is October 22. Two sessions each date, 10:00am-12:00noon and 1:00pm-3:00pm. Participants may stay later and fish.

Application process

Advance registration is required. Limited number of fishing poles are available. Register for fishing equipment by calling or going online.

No restrictions to participate, but fishing equipment is only for those aged younger than 15.
